A Fantastic Florentine Project

Our latest project was far closer to home than usual, in the heart of the beautiful city of Florence. In a huge restyling project of over 500 sqm, for one of the top luxury brands in the chic area of Via de’ Tornabuoni, our team worked within the existing, historic building to create a new look for a world-renowned fashion house.

Working around the stunning internal features, such as vaulted ceilings and antique frescos, we did the millwork for the front of house wall panels, doors, shelves and freestanding furniture as well as showcases, mirrors, hooks and black metal rails. We also worked on the interior of the lift joining the two floors and we made the cash wrap desk for the back of house area.

At the end of the project the team also installed LED lighting to create amazing effects, as well as mirrors, plush seating and other furniture.

The materials used reflect the iconic style of the brand, although they wanted a new concept of design for this store; making use of light-wood and glass units, cement finishes and soft fabrics for the wall panels as well as impressive stone shelves which blend well with the existing building. As you walk through the store you move from ultra-modern spaces to cosy corners with views across the historic city centre, or through rooms with vaulted ceilings and frescoed walls. It is a magical trip through time and style.
