Polverini closes 2019 in Copenhagen with an important opening: new Cartier boutique
Year 2019 ended with an important opening of Cartier boutique in Copenhagen-Østergade.
The famous French brand has chosen the Danish capital to establish its strong presence on the luxury market.
The Polverini team was an active part of the opening and participated in the first phase – the engineering of the new boutique. Covering a vast 470 square meters, the boutique is divided into a commercial area (240 square meters) and a back office (230 square meters). After the initial engineering phase, the team followed with the construction of the interiors.
In line with the iconic style of the Cartier boutiques, Polverini team created walls covered with white stucco and mouldings framed with burnished brass. Other walls, on the other hand, were finished with fabric, while their frames were decorated with burnished brass and marble. Finally, particular attention was required for the wall overlooking the staircase with its unusual curved line.
When it comes to interiors, Polverini worked on all the millwork and back office furnishing, as well as accessories such as drawers, with oak and marble tops, and counters. Both drawers and counters were designed for jewellery display as well as lounge area bar furniture.
This project is yet another important and prestigious work that affirms Polverini’s commitment and strengthens collaboration with Cartier fashion house.
